Impotence Treatment!
Cialis (tadalafil) is a class of medications known as PDE-5 inhibitors, which are used to treat cases of male impotence. Cialis works in as little as 30 minutes and lasts for up to 36 hours. The yellow pill, which allows men to achieve an erection up to 36 hours after ingestion, is the third anti-impotence drug to win approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in the past five years. Sexual therapists, urologists and patients cite the 36-hour time frame as a potential advantage over competing products. Cialis already has won more than 20 percent of the market in Europe and Australia, where it has been sold for less than 10 months.

Cialis Uses

Cialis (tadalafil) acts in the same way as Viagra, by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase-5, or PDE-5. This helps the smooth muscles in the penis relax and widen, which allows for more blood to enter. As a result, you gain erections faster and easier with Cialis. Cialis is approved in authorized markets for the treatment of mild to severe ED at both 10 and 20 mg Cialis doses. The Cialis labels in each of these markets indicate that the product should be taken prior to anticipated sexual activity and without regard to food. Just like Viagra, sexual stimulation is needed for Cialis to work. According to the European label, the efficacy of Cialis may persist up to 24 hours after the pill is taken. In Australia and United States the label indicates efficacy up to 36 hours after dosing.

Cialis How To Take

CIALIS tablets are for oral use. Swallow the tablet whole with water. You can engage in sexual activity within half an hour of taking the tablet and up to 36 hours later You may take CIALIS with or without food or alcohol. It may be possible for you to engage in sexual activity more than once - for example, at night and again in the morning. The amount of time CIALIS takes to work varies for individuals. After you have taken CIALIS you may wish to try sexual intercourse at different times to decide the best time range for you and your partner. Your dose may be lowered to 10mg based on your individual response to CIALIS. If you are not certain when to take CIALIS, ask your doctor or health care professional.

Cialis Side Effects

Tell your doctor or health care professional as soon as possible if you do not feel well while you are taking CIALIS. CIALIS helps most people with erectile dysfunction, but it may have unwanted side effects in a few people. Most of the side effects are mild to moderate in nature. Do not be alarmed by the following list of the most common possible side effects. You may not experience any of them. Ask your doctor or health care professional to answer any questions you may have. Tell your doctor or health care professional if you notice any of the following and they are troublesome, severe, or do not go away:

  • headache;
  • indigestion;
  • back pain;
  • muscle aches;
  • nasal congestion;
  • facial flushing;
  • swelling of the eyelids;
  • eye pain;
  • conjunctival hyperaemia (red eyes);
  • dizziness.

    Allergic reactions (including skin rashes) could occur. In rare instances it is possible that a prolonged and possibly painful erection may occur after taking CIALIS. If you have such an erection which lasts continuously for more than 4 hours, you should contact a doctor immediately. In case of chest pain occurring during or after sexual activity you should NOT use nitrates but you should seek immediate medical assistance. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you notice anything that is making you feel unwell.

    Cialis Medical Precautions

    Cialis is not for everyone. Men taking any form of nitrates (often used to control anginal chest pain) should never take Cialis, as the combination may cause an unsafe drop in blood pressure. Men taking medicines called "alpha blockers" (sometimes prescribed for prostate problems or high blood pressure), with exception of Flomax® (tamsulosin HCl) 0.4 mg once-daily, should not take Cialis. This combination could cause a significant drop in blood pressure.

    Do not take CIALIS if you are currently taking any nitrates or amyl nitrite. Nitrates are medicines used in the treatment of angina pectoris ("chest pain"). CIALIS has been shown to increase the effects of these drugs. If you are taking any form of nitrate or are unsure tell your doctor; Do not take Cialis if you have had an allergic reaction in the past to tadalafil or any of the other ingredients of CIALIS listed at the end of this leaflet. Some of the symptoms of an allergic reaction may include shortness of breath, wheezing or difficulty breathing; swelling of the face, lips, tongue or other parts of the body; rash, itching or hives on the skin. Do not take CIALIS after the expiry date printed on the pack or if the packaging is torn or shows signs of tampering. If it has expired or is damaged, return it to your pharmacist for disposal. If you are not sure whether you should start taking CIALIS, talk to your doctor.

    Cialis Drug Interactions

    Inform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking any other medicines, including any that you get without a prescription from your pharmacy, supermarket or health food shop. Some medications and CIALIS may interfere with each other. This is particularly important if you are being treated with:

  • nitrates (used to treat heart conditions);
  • erythromycin (an antibacterial product);
  • rifampicin (an antibacterial product used amongst others against tuberculosis);
  • ketoconazole or itraconazole (used against fungal infections)
  • protease inhibitors (HIV treatments).

    You may need different amounts of your medicines or you may need to use different medicines. You should not take CIALIS together with any other treatments for erectile dysfunction. Your doctor and pharmacist have more information on medications to be careful with or avoid while taking CIALIS.

    Cialis Medical Notes

    In case of Cialis overdose immediately telephone your doctor for advice, or go to the Emergency Department at the nearest hospital, if you think that you or anyone else may have had too much CIALIS. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning. You may need urgent medical attention. Symptoms of an overdose may include headache, dyspepsia (indigestion), back pain, muscular aches, nasal congestion and facial flushing.

    Cialis Storage

    Keep your CIALIS tablets in the original package, and store below 25°C. Keep all medicines out of the reach and sight of children.
