This medication may cause dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting, especially when rising or standing. If these symptoms should occur, sit or lie down and contact your health care provider. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination or physical dexterity. Avoid alcohol and other medicines that may cause drowsiness (such as benzodiazepines, baclofen) while you are taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you are taking an oral contraceptive. Your doctor may have to adjust the dose of this medicine. Be sure to keep appointments. Lab tests or exams may be required to monitor treatment. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medication.
