Skelaxin How To TakeHow much Skelaxin you take and how often you take it depends on numerous factors, including the patient's age and weight along with the condition being treated. If you have any questions about the frequency and/or amount of the medicine you are taking, talk with your health care provider. Carefully read the information provided with this medicine and reread it each time you get this prescription refilled. Take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your health care provider. Contact your doctor if skin rash or yellowing of skin or eyes occurs. This medicine may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination, or physical dexterity. Avoid drinking alcohol and taking other medicines that cause drowsiness(eg, sleeping pills, antihistamines) while taking this medicine. Patients with previous medical conditions should talk with their health care provider before taking this medicine. Do not stop taking this medicine without checking with your health care provider. Do not take more medicine than prescribed unless advised to do so by your health care provider.
Skelaxin Side EffectsEvery medicine can cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Tell your health care provider or pharmacist if any of the following occurs: Severe- Allergic reaction (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); chills; yellowing of the skin or eyes. Common- Nausea; vomiting; rash with or without itching; upset stomach; drowsiness;dizziness; headache; nervousness; irritability; tiredness.
Skelaxin Medical PrecautionsBefore using this medicine, tell your health care provider about any of the following: if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding; if you are taking any prescription medicine, nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement; if you have liver damage; if you have any other medical condition.
Skelaxin Drug InteractionsDo not take this medicine if you are allergic to any ingredient in this medicine; you tend to be anemic due to other conditions or medications; you have severe kidney or liver dysfunction

Skelaxin Missed DosagesIf a dose is missed, take it as soon as possible.
